A first of it's kind for Central New York, the Fall and Injury Prevention Program, brings EMS providers in to the homes of seniors before an emergency occurs to prevent falls which are a leading source of injury, disability, and death for seniors.
Thanks to two very involved physicians residents of Camillus may see a doctor arriving on the ambulance or responding to emergencies in specialized vehicles. The physicians are on call to provide additional medications, skills, and knowledge for EMS providers.
